BESPOKE CORNER TAILORS OPEN NEW SYDNEY FLAGSHIP BOUTIQUE

Their timeless approach to fashion and ability to be nimble, with an enduring focus on the customer, has allowed the dynamic duo of Miles Wharton & Rami Mikhael to expand when many are contracting or shifting their focus to online platforms.
Paddington/Woollahra locals, the new Sydney flagship boutique was to remain in the neighbourhood they have called home for close to ten years, relocating to Glenmore Rd in the heart of Paddington, in a showcase fitting their undeniable market leading brand – with a few more surprises and delights for their customers.
The new Flagship Boutique has a grand and unapologetic street presence much like all the great luxury brand houses. Inside the new boutique promises to deliver a unique textural experience over two floors, like no other, with an education and transparent communicative approach on fabric, design & construction from room to room.
Their current and new customers will no doubt be delighted to hear that this immersive experience now includes a members-only Cigar Bar leading onto an Italian-style lounge courtyard to echo the business’ proud Tuscan manufacturing roots. Every room in the new Boutique is visibly adorned by original art works from Helmut Newton, a new collaboration with The Lyons Gallery, offering that extra visual feast in a highly stylised and erotically charged photography embracing Newton’s known penchant for glamour, fashion, while flirting with provacative themes.
Wharton highlighting the importance of the areas as “perfect for events the business has been renown to host with partners such as Rolls-Royce, Christian Louboutin, Peroni…or simply to allow our members to enjoy a lazy afternoon escape from work away from the commercial establishments in an easy relaxed environment fit for a king”.
Mikhael adds “We continue to evolve with our customer needs as their requirements change, we change with them. The new flagship site is about bringing our values to audible and tangible life in a perfect setting”.
This small industry-leading team has assemble quite a following amongst the premium and luxury tailoring, and continue to showcase their services in every way and in new modern unexpected ways.
The duo have always had a natural draw card to partner like-minded brands which their clients seek out or already belong to. The business not only representing the best fabric mills in the world, with a long lasting partnership with Dormeuil allowing customer access to limited-release yarns, cigars from the cellars of Montecristo and Cohiba flown in for special occasions, premium aged bottles from whisky partners such as Balvenie & Glenfiddich always available at the bar, and their exciting new partnership with ultra-luxury perfumier Roja leads the customer through a point of difference – an experience in every aspect.
From the entrance of the Boutique, a walk through fabric and consultation room to the back bar, clean lines throughout delivered by Marshall Keen Builders and the upcoming private wardrobe rooms in the top floor for a master tailor experience like no other.
The Paddington address is also perfectly surrounded by prevalent restaurants such as Tequila Mockingbird, Lucio’s, Fred’s and Buon Ricordo to name a few and bakeries and cafes abound
– offering an easy convenience to its local clientele. A true understanding of bespoke service, being tailors and concierges to their customer needs, this team is truly what they preach; a living organism, always growing, connecting and moving with the community they belong to.
But why growth during such a chaotic downturn in retail? And why boutiques in a world of online shoppers?

The Bespoke Corner has not-so quietly conquered Melbourne after opening the South Yarra boutique more than 2 years ago, with notabe additions to their team including but now turns
its attention back to Sydney to showcase their services – the perfect blend of traditional craftmanship and innovating service clients now expect. They are proud to call Paddington their home.
